Set 100 years after a devastating war where biblical demons began to arise at the end of the 20th century. From that war comes new governments and a new military called the Holy Knights, a subsection of the military that uses Divine Energy to fight off the still-rampaging demons. Although the empire is presented as a democratic free state, the pressure from a congestive economy and humanity pushed to the edge leaves much to be desired. As one girl, Camellia Jaq Angelica, joins the knights to bring aid to her family and find out the mystery behind her missing father, she soon begins to realize that the world she knows is anything but holy.
